This product is an easy-to-assemble flat pack chair.

The leather in this chair is compliant with British Standard BS2780. This chair uses'Split Leather' which is cut directly from the hide of a cow, thus maintaining its original fibrous structure, this is then bonded onto a tough fabric backing membrane.

The surface of the leather is then treated to produce a hard wearing but aesthetically pleasing piece of furniture. Please do not confuse this with'Reconstituted Leather', which is produced from leather fibres which are then re-bonded to form a sheet of leather-like material. In the UK,'Reconstituted Leather' should not be referred to as leather. Sadly, there are less reputable manufacturers who market their products as leather, which do not meet the BS2780 British Standard. All body-touching parts of this chair are leather, correctly produced to BS2780. The back and sides of the seat are not leather. This allows the true benefits with regards to the comfort of real leather, but at a lower cost. Indeed, this brings the price of this leather chair into the domain of many PVC or other man-made plastic based chairs. Chrome steel legs and frame, with 5 castors for absolute stability.
