Antique Office Chair Warings & Gillow, Oak, Leather (delivery available)
This is an Oak Office Chair made by the Warings & Gillows Co C1920. The chair is made in solid oak throughout and has leather upholstery. The chair has lovely sinuous forms particularly to the stretchers and and the arm rests.
Condition, is good, there are no repairs, all of the joints are tight and the finish and patination are original. There is slight opening at the joint of the arm rests and the supports but there is no looseness.
The leather covers are in very good order and must be renewals. A beautifully made chair in attractive timbers and from a noted maker. Height: 95 cm / 37 ½ inches.Seat Height: 44 cm / 17 ¼ inches. Width: 59 ½ inches / 23 ¾ inches (across arms).
