A stunning original swivel chair. Dating to the early part of the 20th century, circa 1930s, this is an original swivel chair on casters. Hand carved in oak, and complemented with a cracked leather Green seat cover. The chair is comfortable and the top section of the chair will swivel with a 360 degree rotation, simply sit and swivel.

Lets just say its a brilliant piece of engineering and a comfortable chair. Although the chair shows its age in places, the chair retains a good structure being both heavy and strong.

It is comfortable to sit on and the arm supports complement ones upright position when seated. The leather material is a little tatty in places, but for us this is what gives this piece unique character. There arent really rips or tears to the leather, more cracked areas and some tatty areas.

Also, please note the discolouration to the arms as pictured. The patina created from years of usage is just wonderful! We dont feel the condition is detrimental to the overall function and appearance of the chair. This is truly elegant in appearance and one you could fall in love with. We are offering this piece in as found condition, therefore there is natural wear and tear. Please do study the photos to help with your analysis as it would be hard to highlight all imperfections. Condition : Structurally good, some surface marks and scratches, a little tatty in places, unscented, rusty in areas, cracked leather, some pulls to the leather, a little dirty in places.
