Beautiful Black Leather ICF Charles Eames Retro Chair. All in excellent vintage condition, very minor marks of use.
This is a beautiful ICF Stylish vintage Chair Originally designed in 1958 by Charles and Ray Eames, the ICF aluminium group of chairs are true Italy icons of the 20th Century. This chair is stylishly built with an aluminium frame and black leather. This is a true vintage chair and does have slight signs of ware in the usual places i. E on the arms and the corners of the seat but overall the leather is in very good condition!! Please take time to enlarge the pictures and look at the chair carefully.

It was originally designed for a private residence in Columbus (Indiana, USA), which was built by the architects Eero Saarinen and Alexander Girard in the mid-1950s. For the construction of this chair, Charles and Ray Eames abandoned the principle of the seat shell, instead stretching a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminium side members to create a taut but elastic seat. The various versions of the chair oscillate between strict function, structure, human anatomy and machine-like rationality. The chair adapts to the body of the sitter and is exceedingly comfortable, even without elaborate upholstery.
