The chair features an elegant curved scroll bar back, decorated with fine scroll ears, secured by elegant curved, down-swept arms, which are decorated with foliate carvings. The chair has is upholstered in atwo tone tan-brown leather, with a deep buttoned back above a sprung seat, finished with brass studwork. The sprung leather seat is comfortable to sit on.
The underside of the seat is webbed in the traditional manner with hessian material. The chair stands on splayed legs front and back, terminating on brown mug castors. The chair displays a rich brown mahogany colour. As it boasts the original polish, it has a lovely colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. This item would look superb in a variety of rooms in the home or office; especially the home office or study, as it is so comfortable. This item would certainly grace any home. So dont miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of furniture. This chair is in good original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading edges of the chair frame, but nothing significant considering the age of the item.
The leather is in good clean condition, with no marks, holes or damage. There is no damage or breaks to the back or legs; nor any loose movements to the arms.
