EIGHT (8) SIGNED, Charles McMurray Contract COLUMBIA SERIES designer leather swivel tilt conference office executive chair! RARE and hard to find! ABOUT Charles McmUrray: Founded in 1981 as Charles McMurray Designs, the company was the natural evolution of an architectural education and practicening more than 20 years. An early interest in sculpture and architectural interiors formed the basis for the sculptural elements seen in each piece of highly crafted furniture.
The First Collection of lounge chairs, side chairs, desk chairs, sofas, occasional tables and desks presented a group of highly tailored furniture, complimentary in form and unified in dimension. Other designers have contributed through the years, most notably John Kordak, with whom McMurray designed the IBD Award winning Manhattan series and Best of NEOCON Rio series. Scott McMurray as president and owner continues the tradition of building furniture that is rich in design and of the finest quality.
What material (s) is it? Beautiful crafted highest grade leather. Columbia Swivel Chair is a true bucket / tub chair, designed to create a flow of continuous form. Medium back fully upholstered swivel/tilt chair with outside and inside welt. The leather is buttery soft like lambskin! Overall -- 25 inches depth, 24 width and 30 inches in height (adjustable). Seat depth 18 inches; Seat Width 22 inches; and Back Height 16.5 inches.
What color(s) is it? Beautiful rich light tan brown colored leather. (NOTE:) We try our very best to show the true colors for the item, but sometimes, it is just difficult because of how monitors and lights are calibrated on a machine. What's the item condition?
This is used, but in GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. There are many scuffs and marks on the arms, but in general, the leather seats and backs are very clean. The arms might need some cleaning. Please see pictures for further details. What make this so special? This is truly extremely hard to find contemporary, a little traditional DESIGNER HOME or office FURNITURE. This can be also use in any office or home. The chair will look great in any modern or traditional rooms. The chairs can be used as guest occasional arm side chairs or a conference chair in an office or home. This has a Modern look, with a little traditional feel.
