It has a Cast Metal Mechanism that allows it to swivel, and adjust up and down for height. There is a reclining action, which pushes against the two large springs at the back, the tension of which can be adjusted. The seat measures 18 (46cm) from side to side and back to front. It measures 18" (46cm) to the floor and can rise about 3" (8cm).
