Offered here for sale is a great-looking Victorian ca. 1890's library/captains chair in solid mahogany. Traditionally upholstered in the middle of the 20th century in green leather. Turned front legs and spindles.
The frame is very sturdy with absolutely no wobble. The leather shows signs of age with creases to the seat and heavy patina and wear to the tips of the arms. A handsome well proportioned armchair, in very good condition, ideal for a desk or library. This armchair measures approximately 82.5 cm (33") tall, 68 cm (27") wide, and 61 cm (24) deep.

The seat height is approximately 47 cm (18 1/2). Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. This armchair is in a very good condition commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Very serviceable and ready to use.

As with all vintage and antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc. Collection only from NW6 area in London.
