Leather CHESTERFIELD Admiral Armchair Office Library Chair Oak 1930s Distressed
A stunning chesterfield admiral / clerk office chair in British racing green leather. Solid oak frame had been wonderfully carved with a ball and claw feet to the 2 front legs with a botanical styling to the armrests with the carved daisy finials to the arm rests and simple fluted carving to the arm supports. The back of the armchair has a tuffed leather design with 2 buttons which have burst their ties unfortunately and one button is missing.
The seat has had some temporary patches to repair it over the years, however the new owner may wish to do away with the leather seat and have it professionally upholstered in a matching green hide. The frame itself is in superb, solid condition with only one split to the arm front as demonstrated in the close up photographs.
